Membership

FULL MEMBERSHIP entitles you to attend unlimited classes, potentially a class every day. Members can choose which classes fit into their schedule best. It is recommended that new students attend 3 or 4 classes a week, including at least one class a week with Cecelia Sensei.

Getting Started

We ask for a minimum 2 month commitment to give the art a chance.
$300 + optional $80 uniform = $380.

Family Rates

The first family member pays full price. All other family members join at half price.

Mat Fees

For Aikido students from other dojos visiting us, there is a mat fee of $20 per day. Frequent visitors may purchase a 5 day pass for $60.

Starter Courses

When offered, a starter course consisting of 4 classes costs $49.

Equipment Costs

Uniforms are not required for beginners. However, most students want to have their own uniform right away. They cost around $60, but are subject to market fluctuations.

Promotion Tests

There are fees associated with rank promotions. These fees are paid to Kokikai Headquarters in Japan, ranks are recorded and certificates generated from there. The costs are nominal for lower ranks and are higher for black belt tests.

Special Events

Throughout the year Kokikai holds special events, workshops, camps, seminars, etc. Attendance is not required, but enthusiastically encouraged. There are costs associated with these events and vary according to what is offered.
